Hi everybody I am Stella.

I am spayed and I am 3 ½ years old. I am very loving with people and a good obedient house dog.When I am on my lead I will bark and try to chase off other dogs but if I am properly introduced I will say hello nicely and be friends with them. Problem is that people don’t understand this ! If I meet dogs off lead I just want to say hello to them but they are mostly scared of me.

I have lived with lots of boy dogs with no problems at all and have even been on street collections with Aunty Joy and been very well behaved.

I need an experienced Pack Leader who will understand my needs and not give up on me at the first hurdle.

Harley

Hello my name is Harley and I am 2 yrs old. I am castrated and apart from having my tail docked due to an injury and I a picture of health.

I am looking for a Very Special Home. My new family will need to be very experienced big dog owners with good knowledge of Canine Behaviour. I need an excellent Pack Leader, to look after me and prevent me from getting into trouble. If I do not have this guidance I will become the leader of the pack and take charge of the household.

I am not good with horses and livestock. I can be good with dogs and cats in the right environment i.e. if I am kept in my position in the pack, but would probably be better living as an only dog. I should not live with children as they would find it difficult to stick to the rules that are needed to enable me to live my life to the full.

Hi I am Leo, a Dane x Mastiff and about 4 yrs old.

I am very nice natured and like cuddles and fuss. I am house trained and would be fine with older children.

I am used to being an only dog and I am fine with dogs that I meet when I am playing outside.

My Dad had to give me up when he lost his home and we were both very sad.

Hi Missy here. I should be called Mischief as I am into everything!

I am not yet 2 years old and have had 3 homes already. I am very loving and obedient and live happily with male dogs at the Sanctuary.

I am like so many bitches that need a good “Pack Leader”. Without this leadership I feel the need to take charge of the situation and then find myself in trouble.

I walk nicely on the lead and will ignore dogs if they ignore me but if I feel threatened I will jump at strange dogs and try to scare them. If my “human” is in charge then I can behave myself very well.

I love lots of exercise and a place to run free everyday.

Hi my name is Inca. I am 4 years old.

My family are emigrating and I cannot go with them.

I am very affectionate and obedient, and just want to please everyone. I do have one little bad habit and that is that I do not like little dogs. I have lived with male Danes in the past but need careful introduction where other dogs are concerned.

I am good in the house and am ok with children and also tolerant of cats.

My new family would need to be knowledgeable big dog owners and have the time, willingness and ability to exercise me and help to socialise me.
